SciDB welcomes volunteers!

You can contribute to the SciDB codebase if you are familiar with C++ or Python. Please contact us with information on what area you are interested in contributing to (e.g., optimizer, storage manager, QA, unit testing) and what experience you have. Also tell us about what application domain you come from (e.g. HEP, genomics, astronomy, etc.).

We promise to try to find you a task that fits you best.

Contributions to the code base can only be accepted from contributors who sign the SciDB Contributor’s License Agreement (CLA).

Since the SciDB software will be freely and publicly available under a GPL3 license, the CLA protects you as a contributor as well as protects the SciDB organization. It also ensures that contributions remain exclusively with SciDB and its licensees.
